Leila Brook - Interactions Between A Top Predator (dingo) and a Meso-Predator (cat)

As part of her PhD, Leila investigated interactions between dingos, which are apex predators, and feral cats, which are introduced mesopredators, in northern Australia. She explored the mechanisms by which dingoes may influence feral cat behaviour, which may suppress their populations and activity, and limit cat impacts on native wildlife.
Leila completed her PhD in 2014 cum laude, and now works for Victorian National Parks.
