2010 - Carryn Manicom - Beyond Abundance: The Influence of Top Predators on Mesopredator Behaviour and Life-History.

Carryn's PhD research examined the effect of the removal of top- and intermediate-level predators on lower levels of a reptilian food chain. She examined the effects of top predators - the goannas (Varanus sp.) - on intermediate predators; skinks (mostly Carlia sp.) and spider assemblages, at Ramsey Bay on Hinchinbrook Island National Park.
